I’m so excited to share with you all that I have officially launched my new apparel and accessories line through TeePublic. I have had an interest in design since early 2013, when I was first exposed to Adobe software. I learned InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop within the year, and was able to create invitations, business cards and magazine layouts. I hope you enjoy the new product as much as I do, and I look forward to wearing it during my adventures this year! You can view all of the designs available here or on my Shop page.
Here’s what you can expect from Tantalizing and Tangled in 2018.
Happy New Year everyone! Thank you for all your support last year with the growth of Tantalizing and Tangled. I have gained numerous supporters along the way, and I’m looking forward to the coming year. I would like to tell you all what you can expect from me this coming year.
I ended 2017 on a rough note. I had a pretty crazy December, which kept me from my regular blog and social media posts. I was dealing with different family issues, helping friends through rough times and working holiday hours at the mall. My phone crashed and I lost all of my photos before I could back them up. I was feeling pretty uninspired. I did have the opportunity to see “Coco,” which I loved. I also saw “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” which I have mixed feelings about. I celebrated my 35th birthday, and I’m working on my list of 35 things to do my 35th year. I ended the year ready to be more consistent in 2018.
I follow many Disney blogs, but my favorite is This Fairy Tale Life run by Mindy. She posted a great article about finding a word to set the tone for your year. My word is consistent. I want to be a consistent blogger for you, and I want you to know what to expect from me.
I work a full time job, and I am not able to leave it to become a full time blogger at this time. I am not able to travel to Disney every week, so there will be events I will not be able to cover. I have other interests besides Disney, so be prepared to see non-Disney related posts. I will commit to two posts per month at this time. If I can do more then I will. I don’t want anyone waiting around wondering what is going on, and I also don’t want to be the blogger who quit. I will not quit, but I have to be realistic and fair to you all!
I have one trip to Walt Disney World schedule for this year, and another non-Disney trip in the works. I am also working on another book due out this year. Thank you again for your support and happy blogging!

It was 2008, and I was in Universal Orlando when I first saw Iron Man. It was the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, and it is not slowing down anytime soon. I remember before MCU, we were stuck with films that only produced trilogies or had way too many villains in one scene. It’s nice to have our beloved comics actually feel like comics, and allow much needed character development.
I’ve had my top Marvel films for awhile now, but Thor: Ragnarok surpassed The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Solider (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) in my world. I went into this film nervous that it was going to be like GOTG2, which I felt was over the top and the humor didn’t feel authentic. I’ve read many reviews where fans felt the humor in Thor: Ragnarok was forced, but I was hanging off my seat dying in laughter. It’s so interesting how we all have different views, and react to humor differently.
I’m not going to give you a plot summary or any spoilers, but I will list five reasons why you should check out Thor: Ragnarok :
1) There’s no time to think about Facebook
You know when you’re watching a movie, and those boring filler moments happen. I didn’t yawn once or feel bored out of my mind. When I thought I knew what was going to happen, the plot changed or surprised me.
2) The Hulk
The big guy is back and he has more screen time! I can’t say much without spoiling!
3) There are fun cameos
It’s no surprise that Stan Lee makes a cameo in every Marvel film, but there’s another cameo to look out for!
4) The Return of Loki
You can either love or hate him, but whenever he has screen time with Thor you never know what will happen between the two brothers.
5) Did I mention the film is great and you need to see it!
With Avengers: Infinity War coming out next year, it is important to make sure you are up to date on all Marvel knowledge as we move into the long awaited wars.
Go check it out and please feel free to share your thoughts with me!
October is one of my favorite times of the year to travel to Walt Disney World. If you’ve never been to Walt Disney World during the fall, then you’re in for a treat!
Here’s my top five must do’s for your fall Disney trip:
1) Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
This is a separate ticketed event at Magic Kingdom on select nights September-November. You have the opportunity to dress up, treat or trick, ride your favorite rides over and over again, watch HalloWishes and the Boo to You Halloween parade. There are also special character meet and greets!
2) The Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion is extra creepy during the month of Halloween. You may even see a few hitchhiking ghosts hanging around. Be careful because the ghosts will follow you home!
3) Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival
Food. So much food! Every year, Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival continues to grow with tastes from different countries. My favorites are France, Germany and the Chocolate Studio. There is also the Eat to the Beat Concert Series where you may see your favorite singer or band.
4) Halloween Merchandise
I absolutely love Disney’s Halloween merchandise. I love to look at all the coffee mugs, paintings and décor. Every year Magic Kingdom has limited edition products for Halloween.
5) The Weather
The best part is when you can sit on the hub grass and not die from a heat stroke! The weather is usually in the mid 80’s, but the humidity is low. It makes walking around all the parks extra enjoyable!
Overall, Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to be at anytime of the year, but during Halloween it is extra magical.
